Tarebears Adventures in Skyrim!
51Introductions!
Well, my fellow Skyrim lovers of all ages WELCOME! I'm Tarebear, and I just wanted to share my experience with this new game that everyone loves so much.
To start I got this game literally today, and so far have played about 3 1/2 hours before my loving husband kicked me off (lawl). At any rate I figured I would log my progress.
Now, I am not a huge know-it-all on Skyrim, so a lot of stuff I may post will be confused questions that I shall find answers to! Mostly just how I am going about the game and figuring out what I want to do!
Well let's get started.
Starting Off: WoodCutting, Smithing, Tanning
My first impressions of the game were nice. I loved the scenery, but it was rather funny too, as I watched a cart drag me down to a prison of some sort (Which I found out was Helgen? (Will check so I am sorry if I get it wrong!!!) Anyway, big dragon comes when my head is about to be chopped off (My poor wood elf!!!). Tempest (My character) runs about with (What's his face: will edit when I remeber).
Here is the funny part...Being dumb at times, I have no idea how to equip my crap. No...Idea...So go ahead and laugh because picture me flailing about because my guide is getting the snot beat out of him...and I can't help. FINALLY by accident I hit the button that got me to the screen (phew). Managed to get ONE kill in.
Moving on to the grizzly bear...Man I was so close to getting past that stupid bear too! Really irritated me (Till I got her hide.) So then, of course after we get out it is off to Riverwood!
Meet Avorl(Spelling? SORRY!) who then lets me learn how to tan, make iron daggers and blah blah blah...so....
Off I went to Whiterun...And saw what I wanted....A Horse..... Oh squee! Was my first thought...Then...CRAP 1,000 gold. I haaave....230....>.< long way off no?
Well the way I got my precious horse was I went and just spammed wood cutting. 10 times at the wood cutter block will get you 300 gold. (Tedious, but worth it when you spam daggers to get your smithing up.) Basically what I have been doing is just going there, then fast traveling to wherever I need to find the best price for my daggers and armor and playing the market. Granted right now I am only fast traveling between the two cities.
But for now it is a good start! I have yet to try Milling. I will probably try that when I can get on again. So far though, I love this game.
Next...Hunting and my oh so stupid curiosity.

Hehe, you seem quite into it. :-) Good luck onwards, would like to hear some more practical hubs or similar if you get the chance to post some. Keep working hard!
